Re: All In One bench test

Marty, As I stated. The max RPM is set to 3000. I'm using a Fluke 27. One of the best you could buy at one time.

Re: All In One bench test

Tom, I have an All In One. The spindle encoder is attached to the board but I have not run any wires to the VFD. Bob

All In One bench test

Got a small problem. I'm doing the spindle voltage part of the bench test. When I hit alt-S for S500 I get a reading of 3.35 DCV. When I input it and continue I get an error message Invalid voltage. I checked and the max spindle speed is set at 3000rpm. What am I doing wrong here. Thanks Bob L

Re: DB-9 Connector

Now the bad news. The plastic case is to wide to fit them on the All In One side by side. So chucked the case and wrapped them with rubber tape and ty-wraped the wire end. Still beats soldering them. replaced the screws with 4-40X3/8" long (Home Puke). Job done. Bob L

Re: Air pressure proving switch on Bridgeport V2XT or Boss

Let me ask a question. What exactly is a spindle fault? I mean as far as I know it just turns. So what exactly could go wrong with the spindle? Thanks, Bob L

Re: Only 1 limit switch

Craig, It's a no brainer. Two heavy duty SEALED Honeywell push switches (E-Bay dirt cheap). All ya need is a stop on the casting below the table at the center of travel. Mount your switches on the table just short of travel in each direction. They don't have to be adjustable and your done. If ya nee...

Re: Bridgeport V2XT Limit switches

Limit switches replaced Marty. I'm $200 clams poorer but they work and at the end of the day. That's all you want. Bob L
