Re: Should I be Worried? 452 error

Well I got another 452 error.

Will need to step up on the upgrade. Got the new monitor but still waiting for a power supply. It wasn't included. That was a surprise.

Re: Should I be Worried? 452 error

Sounds like it's time to take the time to switch everything? Sad part its only 2 years old................ Did you talk to Centroid about it? I don't know what their warranty is on monitors.... Its an Atrump piece of garbage industrial computer (built in monitor). At times it speaks Taiwanese to me...

Re: Should I be Worried? 452 error

ELO makes good industrial grade touchscreen monitors. Resistive touch is better an capacitive touch. (Nuisance dust/water droplets) Marty Actually I am having trouble with some of the function keys on my existing monitor. Probably a good cleaning will fix it but its annoying. Need to use the keyboa...

Re: Should I be Worried? 452 error

Well the Centroid monitor was a little more than I wanted to spend. Pus they could not tell me the manufacturer and I was not comfortable with that. I ended up ordering an ELO Touch monitor. ELO is a leader in industrial touch screens so hopefully I did ok. I will need to make modifications to make ...

Software Recomendations?

My mill is an Atrump bed mill. It supports my drag racing operation - I basically only make parts for internal use. I have been using it just about 2 years. M400 control. Up to this point I have been limited to 2D operation. I normally draw my part up in CAD, output a DXF file, and go from there. Ti...

Re: CNC Drag Knife

Very nice. I see the blade offset is 2-12mm, what is the max cutting depth and minimum cut radius of your drag knife? I currently use a Donek drag knife to cut 6mm EVA foam with my CNC. The Donek D2 has a blade offset of 4mm and the max depth of cut of 6mm. I'm cutting 6mm foam so I'm right at the ...

Re: Should I be Worried? 452 error

Well I finally had a chance to check my panel. The width of my holes is about 8 mm more than the Centroid. Not the end of the day but not a direct fit.

The HMI screen is 15 inches and the width of the enclosure is 4 inches. First thing is to find a monitor that will fit.........
