Re: Bridgeport Mill Fault Codes
If you have the tools (e.g. a digital storage oscilloscope that can monitor 160VDC) and the ability to set them up safely, you could monitor the voltage at the VM+ and VM- terminals going into the Allin1DC unit, and see what happens at the moment an axis stalls. If your emergency stop contactor uses...

Re: Exceeding travel
From your report: CNC12 v. 4.64 coordinates file Axis Minus Plus Return Return Return Return Limit Limit #1(G28) #2(G30) #3 #4 Z -8.5000 0.0000 3.50000 0.00000 0.00000 0.00000 X -12.7000 0.0000 4.00000 0.00000 0.00000 0.00000 So all of your available axis travel is in the minus direction from home (...

Re: Spindle VFD compatibility
You should be able to make it work.
It appears that it will accept run-forward, run-reverse and reset inputs; accept a 0-10V analog speed command; and provide a contact-closure fault output.
It also appears that its encoder output is a suitable differential signal.

1) Press F4/Run 2) Press F10/RTG On/Off until the screen says "Run-Time Graphics: Off" 3) Press ESC to return to the main screen 4) Try running the bench test program again With the G codes on the screen, instead of the run-time graphics display, perhaps you will be able to see why it is n...

Re: Bridgeport Mill Fault Codes
"907 _ axis travel exceeded" is neither a fault nor a stall, and would be entirely unrelated to any 410 and 411 stalls. "907 _ axis travel exceeded" means you asked the control to move that axis outside the boundaries of your software travel limits. For example, immediately after...

Re: Bridgeport Mill Fault Codes
"410 _ axis position error" and "411 _ axis full power without motion" stall messages can be caused by a lot of different things. If, when they occur, the axis is rapidly running away, then "410 ... position error" is usually either a wiring polarity error (not somethin...

Re: Safety door input behavior
The nearest thing to that would be to make your door switch, if triggered while a program cycle is running, simulate a press of the Tool Check key. That would stop the spindle (provided it was running in Auto mode), retract the Z to home, and suspend the program cycle. You would be able to resume wh...

Re: Spindel issue - need help
When you ask for 200 RPM, and it shows 50 RPM, how fast is the spindle really turning? If it is turning 200 RPM but showing 50, then you need to change your Parameter 34 value. If you ask for 200 RPM, but it turns 50 RPM, then you need to either change your VFD programming to go faster, or change th...

Re: Set Acorn So It Homes In Z then X Direction. Not the two at once?
Usually, a lathe is set to home to the X+ limit and Z+ limit. We do not know which direction your machine homes in, because you have not posted a Report here. Usually, if you use Intercon in CNC12 to generate your programs, tool changes take place at the G28 position. Usually, the G28 position is at...

... and yes, you can do multiple finish cuts. Just enter a generous "stock to leave" value in the Profile header, and then enter a non-zero cut amount in the Finish operation.
