Hey Jeff. Is JOG cutting just turning the torch on and jogging the torch to cut?
I'll mess around and see if I can replicate it.

Re: Lockformer Vulcan 2900 Retrofit
Thinking about it now. I guess the Acorn Relay board could be used to trigger a relay that would connect your Current Common wire to the Current setting wire. This may get you into trouble if you accidently connect more than one current setting wire to the common at a time. I'm not sure what the HT2...

Re: Lockformer Vulcan 2900 Retrofit
Id say the best option would be to set up all the Current wires and the current/Common so they can easily be connected and disconnected via a jumper wire. The jumper would be always connected to the current common and when a different current setting is preferred just connect the common jumper wire ...

Thanks Shawn I forgot about the Chinese option. I believe that's what Jeff uses. He has pictures and info about it on his thread. Link to his thread is https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=6423

Re: New Setup issues
The Z Travel Limits were set from Z+ 0 to Z- 3. The touch off cycle did not like that and would not retract after setting Z Zero. Just reset the Z Travel limit back to Z+ 0 and Z- 0. Also noticed that the Fast probing feedrate was set to 120ipm? or was it more? I forget. The torch would over travel ...

Re: New Setup issues
I think the xp and newer Hypertherm power supplies also require power cycling after a consumable is changed. Test fire button is a momentary switch so you may not be holding the "test Fire" button long enough to fire the torch. It is recommended to slow small hole cutting down by about 60%...

Re: ohmic test not reading
The material clamp needs connected and pin 6 of the Hypertherm CNC communication pins needs to be connected. The Torch touch runs from the "T in" connection on the TX Board through the material clamp and then back to the TX via the positive of the Divided voltage pins from the Hypertherm. ...

Re: New Build - CNC Plasma Table
I Agree with kieth. One thing you can try for the specific job you just created is throw in a commanded feedrate for the circles. For each block of g code for the circles. Insert a commanded feedrate on the first line of G code XY coordinates. For example M61 Y4 F100. The torch will move to Y4 at 10...
