Re: send in for repair
Hi. thanks for the photos, i think i see another issue, the Tan colored ethernet cable to the Acorn does not look like a shielded cable to me. if that is the case replace it with a shielded ethernet cable. the ribbon cable that goes from the acorn to the relay board can often be found on Amazon and ...

Re: Exceeding travel
please see the operator manual for g code explanation. with a lathe you'll need to put a G98 in front of the G1 to tell cnc12 not to sync with the encoder (or turn the spindle on so it can move) https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_diy/downloads/CNC12-v420_operator_manuals/centroid-cnc12-oak-allin1d...

hi, to start off a support request, always post a fresh report.zip along with the g code program you are working with.

Re: is there a way to re-connect the MPG?
there might be some confusion here. you can turn the WMPG on and off with the big silver button on the WMPG at any time and CNC12 will reconnect to the WMPG without having to restart CNC12. now If you pull the USB wireless Transmitter and receiver from the CNCPC that is different than turning off th...

Re: Moving from M40/CNC7 to Acorn
The "All-in-1-DC" as the name implies has the DC servo drives built into it. 😁 3 axes of digital DC servo drives along with a PLC with 16 optically isolated inputs and 9 relay outputs, 0 to 10 analog out and 6 encoder inputs. This is a very cost-effective unit! Modern Ethernet communicatio...

Re: Exceeding travel
i would 1.) manually jog the machine to "test' the work envelope (software travel limits) all four corners, to make sure it is set correctly. 2.) command the machine to move to the WCS being used in the g code program x0,z0 to verify it is as the proper location. "G54" G1 X0 F20 G1 Z0...

Re: lathe post processor issue ( tool offsets not applied from fusion 360 post processor ? )
often i will use intercon generated g code to debug cad/cam generated g code by comparing them as i know the intercon g code will run on cnc12, so looking at intercon generated g code helps me debug the post processor output.
