Re: jerky movement when in the g code view.
Yeah, I get that. Does anybody have any recommendations on a computer. Preferably a mini that I can put in my cabinet like now. I would like it to have dual lan ports like the one I have now. One for network and of course one for the corn aboard. Here is a picture of my machine and cabinet. Thank yo...

Re: jerky movement when in the g code view.
That could very well be the issue. I know it ran fine with mach 3 but I know that is completely different as well. Thank you for pointing that out.

Re: jerky movement when in the g code view.
Ok, Here are both the report and the test file I was using. I hope this is what you need. I am totally new to the acorn board and software. I know this is a strange file because is has so many passes. It was a file that I used the create a counterbore in aluminum at .01 per pass. But it really doesn...

Hello all, I seem to have a problem when I use the g code view as opposed to the graph view. When using the graph view all seems smooth an the way it should be, however when I use the g code view, turn the graph off at times the machine halts and is very jerky almost like it changes to exact stop mo...

Re: Setup of Hall effect home switches
It seems to be working correctly now after a reset. Thank you
I will post again if there are any issues I'm not sure of.

Re: Setup of Hall effect home switches
Ok, so if they are NO in the axis pairing manual is shows as you said that I can parallel the x,y and z together. The y slave will have its own input but in the available input labels it does not show a slaved y axis option in cnc12 version 4.64. What option would I use for these inputs? Actually. I...

Re: Setup of Hall effect home switches
Thank you for your reply. I agree about the basic info. In testing them the blue output wire has 24 volts on it without the presents of a magnet. When the magnet is placed in range the voltage goes away. I was thinking that they are NC but maybe I have it backwards.

Setup of Hall effect home switches
Hello all. I am new to the acorn world and this forum. So far setup has gone well. I do have a question about setting up 4 Hall effect home switches. These are normally closed so I have them wired up to the 24 volt tap. As for the switch output wires. Do they all need to be connected to separate inp...
