Your gonna love it.
Got mine a week or two back... thing is awesome.
I haven't quite figured out the 0 button though.
I copied the Zero all VCP AUX button to macro 4 button on my CWP-4
I like the tool check button too

Re: Smoothing?

Jay, from what I gather smoothing dose change the code on the fly. That's why CNC 12 wants a min single thread of 1500 or higher CPU. So any hiccup in the pipe line to BBG would show up in the motion control too. The only other thing i can think of...... is maybe not having a dedicated video card on...

Re: Smoothing?

So was mine 1720 thread i5-2390T 2.7 ghz off from ebay. Hooked it up to my cobbled to gather pc ,it did not meet the specs. E8500 3.16 ghz 1315 thread sons old gaming pc and it ran the file flawless twice. I think it might have been the CPU or the Ethernet port on the mob. Some files ran good. AND O...

Re: Smoothing?

I too had a problem with smoothing, and thought it was the motors. Swapped out steppers for DMM Servos only to have the same problem. Changed all kinds of settings , nothing fixed it. So I tried another controller PC...... bingo bang go, problem went away. Might be worth a shot, if it easy enough to...

Re: First 3D Carvings

So happy to be back up an going , and I also upgraded to the CWP-4 pendent. Love that thing. Here are couple of things I've cut ......Bes...

Re: Tool Setting Options For Routers and Mills

Hi It worked grate before the pendent. I got it to work after I posted , I had to change the Z direction during probing. I only used it one time after I got it to work on a job. So fingers crossed I doin't know if when you activate the pendent in the wizard if it changes some parameters or not. I th...

Re: Tool Setting Options For Routers and Mills

I was able to combine both macros into one. Option 0; skips setting Z0 - uses current Z0 Option 1; Jog to the movable touch plate, set Z0, move to fixed TT1 record offset to #159, move back to tool change position. Option 2; Automatically move to fixed TT1 and set new tool's Z0 using #159 offset, m...

Re: Vibrateing & looseing steps

Todd, I have seen this before I had a machine set to run overnight and finish in the daytime, on this one it was the cpu fan slowing down, have a look at the cooling fan on your cpu when it comes to a stop or goes randomly off, might even be better to change to another fan just for a try. Something...
