Re: CrossAir laser alignment

If your laser is always at a known offset from your spindle when attached, look into using G52 for the XY offset, then you can set the Z after that part. Always remember to cancel the G52 when done. This could be done in your post processor as well, as mentioned here...https://centroidcncforum.com/...

Re: CrossAir laser alignment

Somewhat newbie here. Mainly new to the Acorn. I just finished all my wiring today to the Acorn and opened up CNC12 to do some testing. I guess I should start off explaining my setup. It's a Onefinity CNC Router so I'll have a VFD hooked up, homing switches, touch probes, NEJE laser module, etc. My ...

That’s what I figured. No worries though. Figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask. Would be cool if it became a user editable feature at some point. Thank you. 👍

Ohhhh, yeah yeah.....I know those parameters. I'll investigate into it more. I'll read through the documentation and see if there's anything that relates to the main DRO displays background colors.

Re: CNC12 background color.

Hmmmm, I'll have to look around. I'm still kinda newer to the software so I'm trying to get familiar with navigating around. I'm not sure where P7 is but I'll look around. Yeah I'm using CNC12 on my laptop so I definitely have a color screen.

CNC12 background color.

So I was trying to search around and see if I could find whether anyone has asked or not, but came up with nothing. Is the main window color as well as font colors able to be changed? For example instead of blue I'd like to maybe do black with green DRO number and white text for anything else. If no...

Re: CNC12 question: pause, jog, & resume?

Thank you so much guys, I appreciate the feedback on that. I figured it could do what I wanted it to, but didn't know exactly how to make it happen. I figured hitting cycle stop would be "game over", I didn't realize you could resume after that. That was a big one for me too. I assumed fe...

Re: Safety door input behavior

I apologize. I went and searched and found "ToolCheck2" in the input definitions. It's doing exactly what I need. Thank you all for your time as it's much appreciated.

Re: Safety door input behavior

So, I just hooked everything up again and found that pressing the "TOOL CHECK" actually appears to do EXACTLY what I'm looking for. So I guess now my question is having an input set up to trigger a "TOOL CHECK" situation without having to mess with the default functionality of th...

Re: Safety door input behavior

No explanation required, yes or no will work just fine Well in that case no. In my original post I explained that I'm still waiting on some of my components to arrive and still trying to determine which limit switches I want to swap out with for the current N.O. NPN style proxy sensors I have insta...
