Are you using the same code that I (and QMC) came up with? He used that on his Emco 120 without an issue.

I'm using 750W Panasonics on my Interact 1 - apart from the Z which is a bit larger but that was due to available stock / longer shaft to make the mod work.

I must admit, every 'other' thread on Centroid forum seems to be related to a question or issue with DMM stuff. I know they come with a recommendation on this forum generally but there certainly seems to be an issue with them. They arent cheap, for a bit more you can buy stuff like Panasonic / Yaska...

The thing they are recommending is what are known as spindle drives. They are special purpose servo drives meant for spindles. You don't really need one unless you are trying to do something complex or can't find an 800hz regular vfd. They are often expensive and trickier to install. Two problems b...
