Re: Hardinge Accuslide Retrofit
Wanted to update my thread with a video showing the lathe batching out the first operation on a run of clock arbors. Pneumatic collet closer and barpull gripper are working. A 2mm shoulder is turned onto 3mm precision ground 303 stainless rod and then parted off to length. Programed in intercon. Run...

Re: G-Code Question: Tool Change without Operator Confirmation (lathe)
It took me a few days to get the chance to try this out, but it worked great. I used your suggestion of modifying the cnctch.mac file.
Thank you Sir!

G-Code Question: Tool Change without Operator Confirmation (lathe) (Resolved)
I'm writing some g-code and can't figure out how to change tools while suppressing the prompt that requires the operator to verify the tool and press cycle start to continue. This is on a gang lathe, so tool changes are automatic but there is no ATC. The command I am using is simply: N0010 T0101 You...

That worked! I love it when the problem is simple user error. Thanks!

Gang Lathe Rear Approach Toolpath Problem (Resolved)
I'm having an issue programing a part in Intercon that includes both front and rear approach tooling on a gang lathe. The program starts with facing and turning operations with a front-approach tool. This works as expected. Then the program goes to a parting operation with a rear-approach parting to...

Re: C-Axis Homing to Spindle Encoder Pulse
I'd prefer to buy something off the shelf rather than a scratch build. The whole mechanism would have to spin so I'm not sure how it could be wired. And it would need to have no backlash. Do you know of such a thing available to fit motor shafts?

Re: C-Axis Homing to Spindle Encoder Pulse
Ok. That is not the answer I was expecting. I'm talking about detecting the index pulse of the spindle encoder connected to the Acorn DB9 port, not a ZRI from a servo driver. What Acorn input do I need to monitor to see the DB9 index pulse? It sounded like you were going to kick in the Servo motor ...
