Re: Intercon wish list.

YES! definitely some form of basic engraving text and crosshairs. Would be brilliant for part labelling or marking alignment points on workpieces for field identification/fabrication.

Fusion C axis Lathe post processor

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has a working mill/turn post processor for a c axis lathe with live tools. I did have a working PP that outputs XZC C axis moves (no Y axis) but I updated to a new machine and now I can't find the file. Worse yet is I can't remember how I modified the code or even i...

Re: C axis parameters (CNCT)

Thanks for that, I might hold off on upgrading for the minute and watch this space. I understand that they have alot on their plate after the plasma release. It suits me better financialy to wait too.

Thanks again and I look forward to your next video showing off the acorn6

Re: C axis parameters (CNCT)

Wow, thats great. Thanks for all the help. I am just so gratefull for the support. If and when they fix it is ok, there is no rush on my behalf as I can just use it the way I have it for now. I may even just upgrade it to the six if it is all working well and put the 4 on my plasma table. The only t...

Re: C axis parameters (CNCT)

I will have to have another look tomorrow (its 22:00 here).
I didn't think it was right when I did it but it was working out to the correct angles.
I will check the steps/rev too while I am there and try to find where the error is. This doesn't explain why the p145 isn't working properly does it?

Re: C axis parameters (CNCT)

I hope this helps, :D I am not sure of the physical ratio of the pulleys without taking the belt off and counting teeth, I think it is 1:3 (20t to 60t) but the settings in the image (third line C) is allowing me to drive the C axis 1080 degrees and ending back on zero when I have my degree plate in ...

Re: C axis parameters (CNCT)

A glitch I have found with this beta version is the manual axis I have set up for my spindle. It will randomly display ****.**** and shortly after CNC12 closes out without warning. No big deal as once I have the C axis working I will no longer need the manual DRO but it has been handy in the past. I...

Re: C axis parameters (CNCT)

Yes, I have tried 145. Anytime I designate the C axis in P93, the C axis DRO appears and disapears as it should with m50 and m51 but I loose all control of the motor. I am unable to jog or move with gcode and the DRO will not increment at all. If I set P93 to 0 or 1, I can control the axis perfectly...
