Re: Lathe X_ and Z+ not working on VCP

You mention a B axis but I don't see a B axis defined in your machine configuration? Is this report file current? I am unable to duplicate this issue. X & Z work fine. I did notice that I had to configure 4th axis in order to make the C keys work Centroid support https://centroidcncforum.com/vi...

Re: peck drilling

Again, please post a current report and a copy of the g code program in question. I suspect the Feature Cam post you are using is not formatting the G81 & G83 calls in the way Centroid requires. For more information on G81 & G83 formatting please see the manual https://www.centroidcnc.com/ce...

Re: peck drilling

Please post a current report and a copy of the G code program you're trying to run.

What is generating your g code file?

What does
does not recognize the g81 or g83 drilling cycles
mean specifically?

Re: Simple Question?

I'm not sure that you do need an encoder. I can run a CSS program at my desk without an encoder.

In CSS, Centroid adjusts the spindle speed to match current diameter, not the other way around.

For Feed per rev, threading and tapping - yes you do need a spindle encoder

Re: Strange limit exceeded error

The control is warning you that, when it gets to line 1419 of the program, you will exceed the travel. Not that you already are exceeding travel.
