Re: Safe Spindle Temperature?

Depends on the bearing grease, I use Isoflex NBU 15, thats good from -40 to 130C My spindle is reaching 45-50C fast and stays there even if I run jobs with 6000 rpm 16h a day. If your spindle temp keeps rising and will nor equal out at some point, I would stop at 80C, dismantle, clean and fill with ...

I have been fighting com issues since I updated CNC12 last month... so frustrating!

I agree that this should be added to the COM issues tech bulletin.

Re: stepper online servo

These are Leadshine Servos, driver is without 0-10V input.

They work fine with Acorn, 200khz on Headers and up to 500 khz on DB25.

Easy to wire, because all screw terminals no soldering for a custom cable.

Re: JMC 220V Servos with Acorn

Glad that it runs now smooth.

Resonance is maybe from the belt, try to get a bit more tension.

Re: Need travel consistency but its not working as expected

0.012359x1618 Steps=19.997

One step more would be 20.009

There is no way to drive to 20.000 and CNC12 is going as close as your setup allows

Use gear reduction or setup to a higher resolution.
