G52 getting cleared by probing?
Hey everyone, here's something I'm working through... For context I have a 4x8 router table. My table is two layers: A base layer with a plenum, and a spoilboard on top. The spoilboard gets beat up and gets smoothed off with a big surfacing bit. The spoilboard has been glued down to the base. I have...

Change smoothing via command?
Hi all, I was curious if I can change smoothing modes with a command in a G Code file. I took a look at the docs and I didn't see anything in there about it...
Is this possible? Has anyone ever done it? If so I'd be interested in knowing how...

Re: ACORN powered CNC Router with DIY ATC Spindle
I've always wondered if something like that could be done, and turns out it can!
What's that gearbox that actually unscrews the collet nut? And do you have some kind of detection to know how tight/loose it is?

Re: ShopBot Acorn ATC retrofit
A little update... I had some free time today and I finally finished my air blast to make sure the tool I'm picking up is clean. It works like this https://photos.app.goo.gl/zh5HEboCNbY6P74A9

Re: Cycle Start Button not working
Ok, I set my CycleStart2 switch to NC and things are working now...
It's weird because my Cycle Start is actually NO, and my tool check and stop are NC, but I have to have the exact opposite settings in the Acorn Wizard for things to work right. So I guess I found a workaround, but it's confusing.

Cycle Start Button not working <resolved>
I recently added physical start, stop and tool check buttons to my machine: https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=5754&p=49456#p49456 I realized the other day that the cycle start button on my wireless pendant doesn't work along with the one in the virtual control panel. When I g...

Re: Wired MPG for Acorn?
Why not go with a wireless one? It's awesome and VERY responsive. I have a friend that has a wired one on Mach and this wireless one is so much better.
