Re: broken tool T1. re-ref tool & T1 measure knee confusion.
So I have been wondering and I haven't seen the answer to countryguy's original question. If you move the knee after initial tool setup and have to replace a tool, Do you somehow have to move the knee back to the original position to get the new tool to " compare it to the reference tools origi...

Edit a G Code
When I first started using my machine, after loading a g-code program and pressing F5 (edit), notepad++ would open but now just notepad opens the g-code. What controls this button? I don't remember changing anything.

Re: Virtual Control Panel Aux Button Labels
I want to get up and running for now So you recommend temporarily wiring the VFD similar to this except for the fault reset which is out 5 and is currently used for speed up valve. I'll change to option two at a later date.

Re: Virtual Control Panel Aux Button Labels
So do you take the variable speed system off or "calibrate" it somehow to match the VFD ? Somehow I would think it has to be set to close to 1-1 ratio.

Re: Virtual Control Panel Aux Button Labels
cncKeith What do I have to modify to get my BOSS PLC to work using the BOSS pneumatic control? Mainly the original speed pot and out 4 and 5 speed up/dn (See Screenshot of schematic)? I have a VFD but mainly so I can run single phase current. Can the PLC adjust the variable speed pully automatically...

Re: Spindle Auto Brake Release on Boss PLC
I am just trying to understand why output 9 wasn't cycling when I was turning the spindle on and off so I can complete the wiring and plumbing of the brake air valve correctly. As I understand from your post, I have to press Aux3 to "enable" auto spindle brake? Output 9 ON = Brake OFF

Spindle Auto Brake Release on Boss PLC
report_0311192178_2019-06-06_20-04-02.zip I don't see my Output 9 (Auto Spindle Brake Release) turning off or cycling while I have the I/O screen enabled (Alt+i) when I am turning the spindle on / off with the VCP buttons. I also tried MDI M3 & M4. The enable output turns on and the fwd out put...

Re: BOSS to Allin1DC Conversion end of travel and home switch questions
So I just watched Marty's video on setting up limit switches. My BOSS machine has separate switches on X, Y, and Z for home and ONLY ONE EOT on X and Y axis. Z axis had a + and - EOT Switch. The home switches are close to the EOT switches on each axis. Do you recommend using the original home switch...
