Re: CNC4PC C86ACCP for ClearPath SDSK servos
Good luck, I hope you are able to get it resolved. If you do, please let us know how it worked out. Marty Attached are a couple of photos of the 4 axis 5 motor harness I ended up making to wire the Cleapath Control Cables directly to the Acorn per Centroid's wiring diagram. My control box layout wo...

Re: CNC4PC C86ACCP for ClearPath SDSK servos
Marty, I have electronics skills to troubleshoot and was expecting to do actual troubleshooting rather than just move jumpers. The board has potential and makes for a clean install. To be fair, some other users have not had success along with the users who have had success. Unfortunately I fall into...

Re: CNC4PC C86ACCP for ClearPath SDSK servos
Arturo, There are TWO known issues with the board I received. Hopefully you will understand there are two separate issues on this board, and it is unfortunate that it was overlooked in the ticket. I understand Craig had an issue setting the jumpers for the slave axis. I am not sure what the issue is...

Re: CNC4PC C86ACCP for ClearPath SDSK servos
So I am currently running clear paths but considering picking one of these up as the pcb’s I’m using are starting to fail, so want to switch over to this set up, my question is on the directions on the website it says to use his report, I have tons of macros and settings that I don’t want to take a...

Re: CNC4PC C86ACCP for ClearPath SDSK servos
In the Teknic MSP Software you can change the direction of the motor to reverse.
I'm glad you were able to get yours to work. Did you have to change any of the other jumpers to get this to work, or just the slave jumpers?

Re: CNC4PC C86ACCP for ClearPath SDSK servos
So just curious if anyone has actually been able to get the Y-slave axis to work with the new settings configuration posted?

Re: J Tech Laser - compatibility question
Future plans for Acorn PWM are to pipe a 5 vdc PWM output to pin 14 on the DB25 and create two parameters to control the base frequency and duty cycle of the PWM to facilitate easy variable power control of Laser modules via Gcode. This is a new software feature (hardware is in place) and when avai...

Re: Shopbot PRS 48x96 Acorn / Clearpath Conversion
There is a problem when a motor faults. The kinetic energy can keep that axis moving until friction stops all motion. During that time, if the Power-4 hub is used, the position of the axis is known, but not to Centroidcnc. In other words, the Centroidcnc software does not keep an encoder count for ...

Re: New CRP DMM DYN4 machine, odd motion
jkr- I'm starting my build and progressing slowly with bench testing, adding components & systems one at a time trying to follow the KISS method. Other threads posted along with the schematics recently provided in other threads were timed perfectly for my project. I have started a connection sch...
