It was one of the NEMA23 motors (I have two NEMA 23s and one 34). While the x-axis motor was working well, the y axis would not respond to commands from Acorn. The contactor arrived today, the Teknic setup came last week, but I forgot to order a cable which is due to arrive next week. Then I start wiring it up on the bench.

You should use separate power supply for it. The logic power supply included with Acorn is only large enough for Acorn and perhaps some logiccircuitry. I am using the ClearPath SDSK series with their IPC-5 at 75 volts.
