Re: Machine Alternatives Question
Centroid is working to offer a solution for cheaper plasma power supplies. Main issue with cheaper power supplies is they only offer 1:1 or "Raw Arc". If they do offer divided voltage like Primeweld and Everlast. The amount of "noise" or interference coming thru the divided volt...

Re: THC bench test fail
Uninstall/reinstall complete and changed individual settings by hand. All fixed!! And after going back to the install manual I found where it specifically mentioned this. Skimmed right past it the first time. Thanks Joey.

Re: THC bench test fail
Yes, I have pwr on both boards and yes, I restored a report from the previous version. Sounds like an un-install/re-install and enter all fields by hand is in order? I can certainly move the TX. I was just trying to ensure the bottom of the board didn't come in contact with the cabinet before i moun...

CNC plasma setup without THC
Just wanted to get some clarification on wiring my Acorn to the CUT60's control interface. I have both a floating head and a breakaway mount. Those two switches will wire to inputs 6 and 7. Next will be pins 9 and 10 from the Cut60 to input 5. And last will be output 8 from the Acorn to pins 1 and 2...

THC bench test fail <fixed>
Recently learned that the Primeweld Cut60 is not currently compatible with the THC. Primeweld is working on the issue. I fully intend to eventually have two plasma cutters in the shop so I went ahead and did a bench test on the THC before I put it on the shelf for later. Followed the diagram, made s...

Thanks for the clarification Marty.
Kieth, this was going to be my next question. I'll start a new post for that. Thanks.

The Cut60 will not work with the Centroid THC.
Primeweld is actively improving the machine.

Would you mind elaborating? What is it that makes it not compatible at this time?

Re: Phoenix 2x2 Router fitted with CNC Plasma
Hey Marty,
I'm curious to know how you faired with this build. I'm currently changing over my router table to a plasma with the same CUT60. Any issues getting it set up?
Thanks,
Rich

Re: need help with inverter hookup to acorn
Thanks guys, I was thinking the inverter itself would be able to send encoder data based on what I was reading in the manual. Based on your responses it would need to be on the spindle which mine does not. Is this a simple retrofit or are there other things to take into consideration, for instance s...
