Re: Vibrateing & looseing steps
On more thing I didn't think about, you're not trying to run the files off a flash drive are you? I've seen others have problems if they don't download the CNC file to the PC. Just throwing it out there since it's a lot cheaper than buying a new PC. Disregard if you already knew this. Dan Nope ,did...

Re: Vibrateing & looseing steps
Here's the thing Rob The first file (2D Shamrocks) takes 14 mins to cut 75 ipm. I would come in the morning turn everything on run that file 3 to 4 times in a row perfect. Run it one more time, it would make it to the 2nd shamrock one time and start acting up like in the video, or sometimes on the f...

Re: Intermittent servo Gecko 320 problem solved
Hi I would like to weigh in on a macro I'd like to see on a router. I would like a laser Zero button to zero the X & Y with a cross hair laser , with a dust shoe it can be hard to see the tool tip position. You would need to put the offsets in for the laser to the center of your spindle, Much li...

Re: Help with Gecko 203v on Acorn, retrofitting old ShopBot.
Hi Here is my 2 cents on 203v witch I have 4 of. Sell em and buy new drives. I can only get 50 ipm out of mine before they start throwing fits and loosing steps and stalling altogether. I had mine wired to the Acron header with resistors and now use the DB25 port (no resistors needed). To see if it ...
