Re: Chinese cnc router Mach 3 conversion

You should be able to read the diameter and length (metric sizes) and find a replacement online. They look like the RT18's 10 by 38's, as I take a pile of them out every year

Re: Acorn relay board to GS2 VFD: check my wiring?

In most cases I am familiar with, if the keypad is enabled in the parms, the VFD will not accept digital input. You need to set VFD parm 3.00 to 01 or 02 depending if you want the keypad stop button to be operable, I usually don't.

Re: Run Out of Room in the Control Box?

As with the above stacking board, I am trying to get a single footprint control box that will allow adding features without having to upsize the box. This last little adapter uses a couple DIN rail clips and is simply an adapter between the relay module and the DIN clips. The din rail clips allows a...

Re: Run Out of Room in the Control Box?

Hi Gary, What about overheating of the chips on the Acorn board? I'll find out I don't see much room for ventilation. Convection is greater with the cover And of course, Marty will always ask "Can you see the heartbeat LED?" Same as before What about grounding of the boards on top? Not req...

Re: Chinese cnc router Mach 3 conversion

Bobby... Mach is made to not care if all your "stuff" is correct. Not the case with Centroid. Don't blame it on the equipment, a $50k Stradivarius wont sound good the first few times a rookie plays it either. You learned some things to make Mach work, now you need to learn a few things to ...

Re: Run Out of Room in the Control Box?

Brady... It's actually a good question that I didn't ask of "the smart kids", but assumed I knew the answer. (I know, I know) I've seen the Installation enclosures on the Oak and Allin1 that suspend the controller beneath a sheet of metal, so I have assumed that these little addon boards a...
