Re: Autodesk Fusion 360 Posts - 4th axis works, moving on to 5th axis
Hey did you end up getting this to work? I'm having a lot of trouble with simultaneous 4th axis. I've been using my forth axis for positioning for a while, no problems, but in simultaneous mode it over feeds the A Axis. If I command the A axis to rotate, say, 29.8 degrees, it does it perfectly, but...

Re: KP-3 Probe Woes
I've asked Scott B. to call you with a fresh RMA, so we can take a look at it again. sorry for the hassle, the notes on the first repair show internal seat parts were crushed. (could be caused by a impact or over tightened) (recently i've used a KP-3 for over 40 hours of fine digitizing on two diff...

TRT-32-100 Setup / Maintanence
Is there a parts diagram / adjustment procedure available for the TRT tilt tables? I am looking at getting our 2008 E320 dialed back in a bit better and assume there are some areas that could potentially be adjusted / tightened up to get the finishes / accuracy tweaked a bit. I have some data about ...

Re: KP-3 probe for older probe replacement
Thanks Keith!
Looks like I will have to dust off the "Learning how to digitize a port with the E320 and TRT-32" again. Haven't done one in at least 10 years.

KP-3 probe for older probe replacement
Is the KP-3 the "replacement" for the previous versions of probes offered by Centroid? We originally had a Dp4D early DSP version of the DP4, however the DSP ceased to work eventually and I disabled it in the control, using it as a standard kinematic probe. The DP-4 has since died an ugly ...

Very cool work swissi!
The hours and commitment required to make something like this happen, especially from one person, are huge.

I never persued more than positioning. As already mentioned Swissi has a huge jump on advanced features.

Re: newbie looking for help on how many processes and fixturing
"Digitizing" is a fairly complex process. What types of parts are you trying to replicate? If they are structural type parts with standard geometry, you will likely be best suited to use the probe as a measuring tool to then model the parts in CAD. If they are more organic type parts, some...

Re: Wiring for Generic height setting gauge and probe
If you want an over travel on the tool setter, you could possibly wire it in to a spare input and setup a limit. Could trigger an estop or just a movement stop. If you want to invert the signal for an input, you can put a "-" in front of the input name. For example, if your probe is in inp...

Re: Probe...DP4-D is beyond dead is the KP-3 the current replacement?
Keith, Is there an option for changing the unit to NO and closed when tripped? The original logic of Centroid was to have all probes configured that way. If not, perhaps I can rewire the toolsetter and change the input pin in the parameters and keep the toolsetter NO, and the probe NC. Has the DSP t...
