Re: acorn cnc homing issue

In the wizard homing section, toward the bottom, there are boxes for homing axis 1,2,3 in positive or negative direction. If they are traveling the correct direction with the arrow keys, those boxes will take care of it. You could also reinstall 5.04 and load your old report. Make sure the firewall ...

Re: Hiteco atc

If you want every input and output showing up on your screen, then the add on board will do that. I just wanted some safety added where if it won't do certain things if the inputs are not correct. You might want an air pressure switch also, so it either sets the estop when you don't have enough air ...

Re: MDI Spindle input not working (Error code: 5038)

try giving it a speed with the m3 in the mdi. (m3 s12000) or whatever rpm you want it to run. Report or screen shots of your spindle wizard info would help.

Re: Hiteco atc

I installed an hsd atc with just the 8 relays. I did use a generic relay board that would disable the manual button tool release if it was running and things like that. I think I had one relay left unused. Inputs were full, but I made it.

Re: Post processor Acorn-Vcarve pro

If you change the home file from what the wizard does, select you have custom home in the wizard. Otherwise anytime you go in the wizard to make a setting change, it will make another generic home file. Whatever it is told to do in the wizard, it will do. Just part of the learning curve. Make sure i...

Re: The Centroid CNC PC Tuner v1.0 has been released.

I can't help with a log, and I'm not going to kill another pc with it. I am on win 10. The fast start button is no longer there after running the app. It is there on another win 10 pc I have.

Re: In over my head - New CNC Router rebuild.

There is a page of schematics/wiring diagrams. Find the one for leadshine DM series and go with that. You will need the db25 breakout board. The whole thing looks like a lot, but one wire at a time is easier to handle.

Re: Giving up on controller-commanded spindle speed

A small capacitor across the 0-10v leads at the vfd, will probably fix it. If you search for the cap you can find the value used.

Re: Changing router bits mid-job without an ATC

It's easy enough to do. I have set up multiple machines to do mid file changes. The off sheet fixed tool measure switch is kind of a must have. The main plus is you can leave the vac hold running and your part can not move. As far as fool proof, I don't think that is an achievable goal. You still ha...
