Does anyone out in the ether have any experience with these AC Servo drives? I have no idea as to the manufacturer, but a customer inquired about them. They can operate in both Step/Direction mode (Acorn), or +/-10VDC Speed or Torque mode (Oak).

Will the plasma version also be available for the Oak and Allin1DC?

In situations like this, I install a UPS that will maintain power to the PC. That way, even if the power goes out, the control will remember where it is. A 600 or 800 Watt UPS will usually keep everything safe for about 30 minutes. I've had great success using products from Advice.
