Re: Homing 4th Axis

If you followed Keith's instructions, the homing routine (cncm.hom) will have been created, and the homing command for the 4th axis will be in it. Then upon power up, when instructed to home the machine, it will automatically do it (if you have it set up correctly). The command on the bottom of the...

Re: Slow returning beginning of a cut

Reason, because the job file tells it to feed at 5ipm. Solution, edit the file to use a higher feed rate. The final cut is made at 5ipm. When the machine starts a new cut it uses 25ipm. There is no G code saying that. The 25ipm and 5ipm is just to cut. When the Final Cut is done it returns to start...

Sorry my friend but I forgot to ask… Any idea how to get that new version of the control software? What is the ETA for the 5.10 version?

Re: Aspire post processor and centroid question

This is not something you would do on your machine to make a program run; it is just something you can do -- preferably in the offline/demo software -- to get an idea of what a rotary-axis program will look like. Axis labels are on the Machine Configuration -> Motor Parameters table: Press F1/Setup...
