no, i still trying to find the way to use the cnc12 plc to control the ATC, i was looking at this shcematic sheet, this reffers to a lathe turret but i suppose that it would be the same with the router carousel isn't? if it's possible i can add two more sensors to the carousel plate and configurate ...

Mr. Marty, it is necessary to have the optical sensors in the turret in order to get the gray code? or cnc12 is able to calculate the tool position just with the amount of time the motor takes to rotate the full 360 degrees as well?

i am sorry i tought i answered you question, no the ATC doesn't swing in and out, its fixed, it only rotates, the spindle goes and pick up the tools. it's ok you can help me a lot with that video links, they really helps, maybe i don't know how to explain how the tool change process works, but it sh...

this is my carousel tool changer. it has 8 tool bins and it is driven by a stepper motor that acts like a any dc motor, it rotates and lock its position, under the ubrella plate there are two sensors, one is sensing each tool position, the other sense every rotation (360º). also there are two relays...

The machine is 3 axis i have the 4th axis available, i just didn' t know that i can drive the stepper tool changer with cnc12, thats why i ask if its there any pdf or instruction videos i have been looking for information abou it, maybe i missed the right page on the manual where that information is?

Well that circuit board is the umbrella stepper motor driver, i am trying to figure it out how to send the signals from the acorn to make it turn to choose the different tool number
