Re: VCP stuck in X1 jog speed

I had the same problem happen yesterday to my machine. I rebooted a few times and then homed my machine and it homed normally at normal speeds but then would have the same probe tripped error. Re: VCP stuck in X1 jog speed

Dan M, a regular NO-type tool setter does not trigger a trip when the system boots up. It looks like this behavior is unique to your wireless tool setter model. I know these tool setters go into sleep mode when they are not being used for a certain time and you need to wake them up before use. My g...

Re: VCP stuck in X1 jog speed

Do you guys know what needs to be done to not have to trip a NO tool setter on startup? I have one of the wireless ones same brand as the MPG and my machine does the same thing. So on start up I have to tap the tool setter or it says it's tripped. Unfortunately most of the cheaper tool setters are N...

Re: Y axis and paired axis not moving in sync? < resolved>

Actually never mind I just looked at the Haun Yang and the connections are different. I guess just the body looks the same sorry for not looking at it prior to commenting. I looked for a little while and I don't see a reset connection on that VFD. From what I saw from a quick search, it looks like t...

Re: Y axis and paired axis not moving in sync? < resolved>

The VFD looks similar to my Haun Yang VFD. Maybe look at the most recent Haun Yang schematic.

Re: Gecko 203v/214v wiring question/NEW ROUTER BUILD

It's working great as is, I just wanted to know what I did wrong with the initial setup. It just seems like it should kill the motors when the message comes up so that I could check the squareness and manually adjust it if needed to be. 2 thing going on with the message. Either power or ENA signal ...

Re: Gecko 203v/214v wiring question/NEW ROUTER BUILD

Dan... Do you need to square the gantry? IOW, is it out of square at rest? If you need you can drop power or de-assert the enable via a relay to freewheel the motors. In most cases the gantry should be square, or be held square before motors are powered up. There are about 10,000 ShopBots that oper...

Re: Gecko 203v/214v wiring question/NEW ROUTER BUILD

I have a question if anyone sees this, I didn't want to start a whole thread for it unless I don't get a answer. I'm using manual square on my router and when I hit cycle start to home the machine and I get the message to now manually square the gantry (sorry for not remembering the exact m225 verbi...

Re: Trouble Setting Up DB-25 Connections on Leadshine-Like Motors

Oh ok, I figured there must have been a reason. I was looking at your wiring and do you have the 5v com going to the com on the Acorn board? I'm not sure why it would work with the screw terminals if you don't, but it's just something I think I noticed that might be wrong with your wiring. Also I th...
