not typically. smoothing is primary designed for short vector 2D and 3D G code files and does a nice job rounding off rough G code files. or for helping out high speed routers turn corners running at fast rates. Intercon does not create short vector g code files.:-) so typically you would not use G6...

just introduced by Arturo at CNC4PC..by far the easiest way to connect Clearpath Motors to the Acorn CNC controller.

thanks for reporting back... not following the schematic right out of the box?
also.. your report shows 'steps per rev' at 400... things will work much better at 2000. take a minute to read this post.

hello. which drive type did you select? are you still on bench test? if so, bench test defaults to a "NO" estop since most wont have an actual estop connected for the communications test. if you have a estop wired, change input 8 estop to "NC" in the wizard. press write settings ...
