hi so i have an m400 running cnc10 sd3 servo drive centroid servo motors rtk3 plc the vfd is 415v so that will be changed and more than likely the spindle motor i will have to find a transformer as the one here is 415v stepping down to 240,110,24v any recommendations welcome are switching power supp...

thanks for the advice. because i don't have lots of room , the plan is to relocate the control cabinet . at first glance it looks like the coolant and spindle motor are the only things requiring 415v 3ph . the toolchanger is the maltese cross type . i can't see the actual spindle motor at the moment but the controller is rated 5.5 to 7.5kw. which i may have to change to a lower power. the plan is to just get it to work but from a 240v supply ive been told the motherboard has just been upgraded and rel...

The building ,wiring, skills are not an issue ,knowledge of what are the best bits for the job etc are.. its currently 415v supply , the initial plan if possible would be to strip out the higher voltage stuff ,replace with 240v items if possible . as that is my garage supply. if the worst happens i ...

thanks its a big old lump for home use its a 2006 tryax mmc45 vmc
its dead and 3ph 415v so until i get a good look at it i don't know what components it already has or i might be able to keep.

hi i am about to retro fit a mill with acorn but up to now i have only used stepper motors.can anyone advise on a servo brand at a reasonable cost for the home shop . also for x,y,z what sort of power rating ive seen 750w and 1kw etc Can i use a servo motor to drive the spindle? if so what sort of s...

any obvious placement issues just say.
