Re: upgrade reverts to free

You will need to re-install your Pro license after the upgrade. If you aren't able to locate it reach out to Centroid and see if they can send you the license again.

Re: Odd characters in CNC12 ver. 5

I ran into a similar situation today with odd characters in the MDI. in CNC5.04. MDI Charachter edit MDI CMD above bottom block Screenshot 2023-07-09 121738.png I was measuring tool offsets and was using the arrow up key to select G30 ( used to move over my fixed touch plate ) and then arrowed up to...

Re: CNC12 v5.04 has been released.

If you have a Mill Pro license you will need a Router Pro license when you load Router profile. IIRC you can upgrade from Mill Pro to Router Pro for a small fee.

Re: CNC12 v5.0+ Draft Operator's Manual Mill/Lathe

Will there be a router manual or will the Mill manual be used for the Routers? If the mill manual will be used for the router, it may be a good idea to have a router/plasma table graphic for the X-Y-Z movements. It may make the X-Y-Z orientation for a gantry machine a little more clear than someone ...

Re: AVID CNC PRO4896 Build

I wired my Y+ limit switch and set it up in the Wizard. No harm, just an added safety margin.

Re: It's me again, Clearpath losing/gaining steps

How do I configure the motor to recover from lost steps. Refer to the SDSK manual, page 75 for position recovery. The reference voltage for the clear paths is recommended to be +5VDC, there was a discussion and thread about this and resistor values https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=47292...

Re: It's me again, Clearpath losing/gaining steps

Do you have your Clear Path settings configured to recover from lost steps?

Do you have the latest configuration for resistors on the step/direction/HLFB for the clearpath?

Re: Windows update

I noticed that with one of the update packs for Windows 10 Update changed and won't allow you to shut off updates completely - IIRC 45 days is the max you can set it to automatically check and install updates. I set my update settings to max intervals and install window during graveyard when I know ...
