When using metric, remember you are setting unit per rev (mm/rev) compared to the reverse for Imperial - revs per unit (revs / inch). Therefore when working in metric, if distance commanded is greater than actual travel you need to reduce mm/rev setting not increase it. Marty's excellent downloadab...

Thank you both. I have watched Marty's video multiple times. Gary - What if I'm working in mm only. So in the interim I did some testing. I'm using a digital dial indicator. With those setting noted above I Zero'd the axis and moved 5mm. If the result was say 4.98 I would change the 5 to the 4.98 an...
