Re: Acorn / Leadshine "9031 DRIVE FAULT"
Enable boxes were checked off - they were not when running "bench test". I unchecked the boxes and tried running the Acorn board (drives wired but not powered with either the +5V or motor power (72VDC)). Same result - "9031 DRIVE FAULT". I have asked Automation Technologies whet...

Re: Bridgeport Boss 6.1 Retrofit
Thank you Marty for the quick reply, because of your videos i decided to get Acorn instead of some Mach4 board :) Pic of X-axis motor attached. You could likely reuse those steppers at a cost savings as you indicated. Use the search box upper right corner of the page and search Bridgeport Boss I su...

Re: Acorn / Leadshine "9031 DRIVE FAULT"
I wonder if you have to go into the ADVANCED TAB in the Wizard and INVERT the ENABLE circuit?

Re: Pro license file/ induction sensor
So the switch is a PNP NO switch they gave me the wrong switch but won't refund it.. is a PNP No switch usable? My opinion is that you should buy the correct switches. It's Hard to understand why they wouldn't take the switches back if they sent the wrong ones. Clay I agree, you can monkey around w...

Re: Pro license file/ induction sensor
It was only to demonstrate how the Acorn input is activated. Just simply take a wire from common to Acorn input. Had nothing to do with your sensor other than telling you your sensor circuit had to ground Acorn input to activate it, not apply +24vfc to the input.

Re: Pro license file/ induction sensor
Your sensor when activated must GROUND or sink the Acorn input to activate it. Try it. From the main CNC12 screen, press Alt-I You will be in the diagnostic screen. Take a wire from an Acorn COM terminal and touch it to input 1. Watch input 1 on the diagnostic screen. You should see it activate ever...

Re: ***DMM TECHNOLOGIES DYN4 USERS PLEASE READ***
I have a question for the community. I just had my DYN4 servo drives replaced with the fix on the added ZRI feature and using the 1.8kW DMM motor as a spindle motor. My set up has 4 DMM motors with 4 DYN4 drives(X,Y,Z & Spindle). I downloaded the latest schematics, however the DMM differs from ...
