It was only to demonstrate how the Acorn input is activated. Just simply take a wire from common to Acorn input. Had nothing to do with your sensor other than telling you your sensor circuit had to ground Acorn input to activate it, not apply +24vfc to the input.

Your sensor when activated must GROUND or sink the Acorn input to activate it. Try it. From the main CNC12 screen, press Alt-I You will be in the diagnostic screen. Take a wire from an Acorn COM terminal and touch it to input 1. Watch input 1 on the diagnostic screen. You should see it activate ever...
