Re: Rigid Tapping Setup
Do you even know if it's interference? Have you looked at the signal when the inverter is running? Is interference visible?

Re: Program eratic after a tool change Lathe
Immediately after the weird moves with the parting blade, what happens if you restart the program from the beginning? Does the first tool run correctly?

Re: Rigid Tapping Setup
It may be a problem in the analog to digital conversion within the servo drive. Unless there are some filtering parameters in the drive for the analog input, then you may not be able to to fix it without changing the servo drive.

Re: Setting up a 4th axis travel
No, you read that wrong. You use the correct steps per rev. You just have to realize they rotate axis feed rates are in degrees per time and not inches or mm per time. Steps per rev should be set the same in CNC12 and the motor driver. For a rotary axis turns per rev is determined by the worm gear r...

Re: Ethernet or Crossover Ethernet?
You will not need a crossover cable as most ports are auto sensing nowadays. The CNC12 computer is usually a dedicated computer located at the machine. The control computer and the Acorn are on a static network of 10.168.41.nnn. If your control computer has dual NICs, you can connect the spare to yo...

Re: Rigid Tapping Setup
It doesn't matter what the exact rpm is. CNC12 uses the encoder to synchronize the Z-axis with the actual rpm as read from the encoder.

Re: Linear Scale with Acorn 4-axis
Yes, it can be done with Acorn. I don't know if it's possible with the Wizard. You may have to edit the parameters directly.
