Re: Trying to troubleshoot some jerky motion in cuts
Some general observations: - X and Y axes are set to slow jog faster than Fast jog which is the reverse of what you would normally set - X and Z axes are set to 3200 counts per rev but Y set to 1600. Is this what you intended for testing or an oversight? Either way, the Drives must always match Acor...

Re: Does Centroid have axis runout compensation?
You really need to sort this mechanically asap.
In the meantime, review Coordinate System Rotation (CSR) in section 4 of the Mill manual which might be an easy way forward in the interim. However, you will need to set this for each WCS used

Re: No trail
Just a cautionary word - If you use Centroid's Intercon you will need the actual, precise diameter of each tool to be entered in the Offset Library, at least when using it. I use Aspire as well as Intercon on both my Router and Mill and therefore ensure both sets of Aspire and Centroid tool librarie...

Re: PM30 with Acorn used to work now one axis doesn't work
Sounds like your spare "C" drive is SNAFU but still not sure about drive "B". This still doesn't feel right as you say everything was working until you moved it - Machine, Control cabinet, Acorn or everything? Please upload a current report.ZIP (not the TXT file) as this contains...

Re: PM30 with Acorn used to work now one axis doesn't work
Swapping "ALL" does not take you forward. Try only swapping the X and Y connections on the Acorn board which will help identify whether the board itself or possibly your wiring is causing the problem. As an additional check, you could also disconnect your existing X axis wiring between Aco...

Re: KO Lee grinder conversion
The specs are on the motor photo you posted
With 2.2vdc and 7 amps you have an inductance near to 1.8mH but this needs checking. This implies a safe max voltage of around 42vdc. The max power is therefore around 300watts which should get you off the ground with Teknic.

Re: Time Remaining
For my part, initial time estimate shown alongside elapsed runtime would be a very useful addition. Option to suspend elapsed time during toolchange would also be useful for me but probably not for everyone

Re: MANUAL ATC FOR 5 AXIS ROUTER -HELP
Exactly Tom, that is how and why I have configured ProbeApp for my router.
This method does NOT use stored offsets for any tools (just diameter etc) but you don't need them anyway if you are going to measure tools at every toolchange.

Re: MANUAL ATC FOR 5 AXIS ROUTER -HELP
Review Swissi's ProbeApp on this forum. I use it on my router for exactly the same reason as your situation
