Re: inches per minute increase in corners
No. Max rate is a per-axis value, and a G0 "Rapid" move means get there as fast as possible. Therefore, if X can go 300 in/min, and Y can go 300 in/min, and you ask for a rapid move on a 45-degree angle, then X and Y will both go at 300 in/min simultaneously. In that case the combined spee...

Re: inches per minute increase in corners
What feedrates are you using in your CNC programs?
When you dry-run the job (e.g. with no tool in place, or with the Z axis part zero set up above the material), with the feedrate override at 100%, what numbers do you see in the feedrate display in the status window at the upper right?

Re: Centroid M-15 with CNC10 file transfer
The ethernet comment was an attempt to transfer files without usb, but from the bulletin even if I find a computer running windows xp, the version number is too old to use networking; correct? Not correct. With CNC10 v2.30, you can set up the Linux system to read a Windows shared folder. You could ...

Re: Centroid M-15 with CNC10 file transfer
The "PCI driver not loaded" message is expected, because you have a PC104-bus board and not a PCI-bus board. It is not an issue. "Active directory networking" relates to ethernet (local area network) connections to Windows computers, not to USB. If you know a bit about Windows ne...

Re: Centroid M-15 with CNC10 file transfer
Is this the same USB stick that worked a month ago, or a different one? The Linux system (and especially the one used prior to v2.60) was somewhat selective about which USB devices it would recognize. Look for a SanDisk Cruzer, preferably older and smaller. I have a handful of 2GB Cruzers that I dra...

Re: Jammed with spindlebenchtest
It sounds like you somehow got the content of the file pasted as one very long line, instead of 100 separate lines. Are you sure you cannot find any other way to just download the file from Centroid's web site: https://centroidcnc.com/usersupport/support_files/benchtest/spindlebenchtest.cnc and just...

Re: 411 Full power without motion
... but, one more thing you could do would be to check the low-voltage DC logic power levels going into the 24-pin logic power plug at the top right. Your unit, from mid-2014, is from the brief time that Centroid used two separate switching power supplies on the back: one to make +3.3VDC, and one to...

Re: 411 Full power without motion
If no fuses are blown (or even if they are), you should contact Centroid Tech Support about sending your Allin1DC unit in for testing, evaluation, and repair. It is likely that you have an on-board failure of some sort.

Re: 411 Full power without motion
Right now, it is sounding likely that you have a failure in the drive power section of the Allin1DC, and will need to send it to Centroid for repair.

Re: 411 Full power without motion
I don't see any configuration issues in the report files you posted on the 13th. All three axes have correct drive mappings (Parameters 300-302), and all have workable PID gains (Kp, Ki and Kd). That should be sufficient to get current out to the motors when enabled. Does the 7-segment LED on the Al...
