Re: Lathe ATC only advancing one tool

Philtrueman, i would set A Axis to a linear instead of a rotary axis. Additionally, The DRO should "align" with the tool that you are on. So every 1mm should be 1 Tool (since you are in metric). For Example: Current tool = 5, DRO Reads 12.5000 Command T0808 DRO should move to 16 + the ove...

Re: Homing question

the homing routine is a file called: cnct.hom which is located in the c"\cnct directory. The wizard generates cnct.hom based on your homing adn axis configuration choices in the Wizard. the cnct.hom file is a simple text file and is G and M code. The file is 100% user editable so if you need t...

Homing question

I have a lathe with an turret ATC. I have proximity switches on the X and Z axis and one on the rotary turret. When the Z and X axis home the home switch it tripped and the slides back off the switch. That is ok on the X and Z axis but as the rotary ATC turret backs up onto the ratchet with the pawl...

Lathe ATC only advancing one tool

I have the standard lathe ATC axis driven macro and the standard M18, M21 macros. I have a turret which only moves anticlockwise the backs up to a pawl which locates the turret in the correct position. I have homed the turret and run M18 then set tool 1 as the current tool. If i enter t0202 it will ...

Re: Lathe X_ and Z+ not working on VCP

You mention a B axis but I don't see a B axis defined in your machine configuration? Is this report file current? I am unable to duplicate this issue. X & Z work fine. I did notice that I had to configure 4th axis in order to make the C keys work Centroid support https://centroidcncforum.com/vi...
