Ahhh.... didn’t see that. I have an unused input that I can use. I’ll either put a OV feedback from the probe connector or just tie the input to 0v. I never disconnect the probe. It’s an inexpensive one that doesn’t have smart feedback.

It is still unclear why the functionality works for the buttons and not the wheel. I don’t have the type of probe that has detection. I have set up the wizard such that it knows there is a probe. All other probe functions work correctly.

Hopefully the bug is fixed in 4.6

Left knob on X, Y, or Z
Right knob on x10 or x100
Turning the wheel with switch activated does not inhibit movement.

In my mill application, the probe protection works with the VCP jog buttons. However, the protection doesn't work with the MPG wheel. I am more likely to damage the probe with the wheel than the buttons.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

Yes, I only set up one home. Since it is a Mill Turn, I was concerned that when powered up, depending on whether it has a lathe QTC or chuck on it that home might get me into trouble. I am just asking if people tend to set up their CAM so that dimensions include the tool holder when it can cause a crash....

Sorry, sometimes the phone auto correct takes over and I don't think to proof before hitting send. And, there seems to be no way to edit your post after sending and realizing what happened.
