Well, I don't know any way to configure text msgs, but you could set up a tower signal light to blink, say Amber, when your machine is waiting on a tool change. You should be able to see that from across the garage. Here's an example of one, but there are many more. Just a suggestion:https://smile.a...

I have a Acorn board with 8 outputs, before I had board where relays 1with8 was paired and 2wit7 . now I have new one and there are all relays controlled separately. Caleb, Bosaro, I have been wanting to do the same thing and it turns out to be ridiculously easy for simple stuff. Start up CNC12 and go to The Wizard. Then open the Output section. Scroll down the long list of parameters on the left until you get to GreenLight, AmberLight, RedLight. Drag GreenLight...

Well, the short answer is that your laptop isn't recognizing the built-in ethernet connection. Go to Network Connections in Control Panel, click on Ethernet. Make sure your Ethernet connection is enabled and then follow the directions that you have already found to configure the IP address correctly...

Hmmm . . I use Franco's lathe post processer on my Acorn in lathe and I get diameter mode.
You'll probably need to post a Report and your G-code program for the experts here to look at.
