phazertwo,
I can't reproduce your problem with the same probe settings you have.
When you disconnect your probe, do your LED's for Input 6 & 7 look like this?
LED 6 must be red and 7 must be green with a Line on top.

Re: Acorn no longer follows touch off macro
wwolski, looks like CNC12 has changed the behavior with G moves in a probe tripped situation. If your TT has a probe detect signal, CNC12 no longer lets you execute the G53 move when the probe is in a tripped state. I looked at your mfunc6.mac file and have seen that you are doing a fast probing mov...

Re: Fusion 360 Mill Post Processor for Acorn with additional Features
A new version of the Fusion 360 Post Processor has been posted. These new features have been added: * Select Safe Retract Position for Z-Axis * Support for Smoothing Profiles * Inverse Time Feedrates (G93) now used for moves involving a Rotary Axis Check the first post of this thread for the downlo...

Re: I would like to update to CNC12 4.20.1
dautry,
all you need to do is copy the file license.dat from the 4.18 folder to the new C:\cncm folder. When CNC12 starts up it will look for that file and enable the Pro version.

Re: input 4 / input 6
curiousMike, without looking at your report file, there are a couple of things I can tell you. You can use Input 1-8 for whatever you want as long as what you configure in the Wizard for these Inputs and what you actually connect to them physically on the Acorn board makes sense and matches up. The ...

Re: Third Party Edge Finder???
CNCMaryland, I don't see your point. Even if the plate is not machined accurately you would be able to tune in the X, Y and Z offsets within your probing routine to make it way more accurate than it needs to be for wood working. AESamaan, I think Keith has plans to integrate Probing Routines into CN...

Re: Installed 4.20.1 MPG issue?
Fastest1, there was a new Parameter Setting for Probe Protection introduced with CNC12 v4.20. From what I know, Centroid got the requirement from OEMs to turn off Probe Protection in the VCP. Parameter 153 now configures if VCP Probe protection is ON or OFF. The upgrade process should have set this ...

Re: WCS vs Machine CS
Martin, I looked at your CNC12 tool library and the tool 8 that you are using in your example is not setup in CNC12 and has a diameter of 0. The tool library that you use in Fusion 360 needs to match the tool library in CNC12. How did you set the Z-Ref point? I recommend that you set parameter 3 = 2...

Re: WCS vs Machine CS
Martin, the message in your last video shows that the Z axis limit is exceeded, not X or Y. It looks like you have set Z Zero all the way on the top so the G43 height compensation move would go above the machines Z top limit. You have to move Z further down and then set WCS 0 again just for the Z ax...
