I was trying to avoid the wizard as it keeps overwriting the "hom" file every-time it saves - which is a little annoying.
But your right, easy to set in the Wizard.
Now set to '1.0' and things are much better.
thanks

Re: Acceleration
Perhaps if I put the question another way...
In Mach3 it's very easy to set the acc/dec for each axis.
What/Where is the equivalent in the Acorn world ?

Acceleration
How does one set/control acceleration.
At present direction changes are brutal, so how to soften them so that it decelerates somewhat before a direction change.
Para 165, I do not follow what the impact of these options will be.
Can someone shed some light ?

Re: Screw Compensation - Possible Bug
Solved. I'll clarify the issue/solution here so that others may find it useful. When using the "Compensation" menu you can hope in and out of MDI screen directly. a) Always return the axis to zero (home) before editing the table. b) The edits to the table do not always take affect immediat...

Screw Compensation - (resolved)
Hi I am trying to map the ball screw. Turn on Screw Comp in the Motor menu for the X axis. (F1, F3, F2, F2) Enter various values into the Comp table for X axis. (F1, F3, F2, F5) Saved it all as i went. Restarted CN12 just in case. And it happily seems to ignore my compensation. Hope it's operator er...

Re: Acorn Pro
That is good news, and less money is always welcome.
But equally I do want US and UK engineering companies to make some $$$, so they can stay in business and make more good stuff.

M codes to turn on/off Limit switch action
What are the M codes need to turn on/off the limit switches ?
Is it M94 / 101 /102 /103 /104
and M95
If so, how do we get the values 101, 102 etc...
And i tried them in the HOM macro, and it didn't work.
