Re: Post processor Acorn-Vcarve pro

The fastest way forward is to restore from the most recent backup dated BEFORE you started making these erroneous changes. This assumes that the backup is the same CNC12 software version as have currently. Restore should NOT be used for different s/w versions, of course. Before you start and just in...

Re: Post processor Acorn-Vcarve pro

I also use CNC12 with Vectric's Aspire (same PP as Vcarve) and with the Centroid Arc Inch PP.

Re: New setup help!

As Shawn states above, you have your drives p/r set to 800. Your report shows your Acorn config is set to 1600 which is where it should be BUT a mismatch with the drives. Before going any further, power off and reset each drive dip switches to 1600. Have you connected a E-Stop in the wizard? I see s...

Re: Facing with Intercon?

Simple answer I guess is not everyone wants or needs this. I would add (or subtract) an amount greater than the tool radius if I need full clearance at the end / start of each lateral move. But there are jobs where I don't need this e.g. surfacing my Router spoil board Be interesting to see Uwe's ta...

Some other observations that might help: In the Report you posted for the 15 Jan your CPU has a Single thread benchmark of 1515 which is very close to the minimum required for Mill. Your CPU is used for both Desktop and Laptops - Hope you are not using a laptop as this is not recommended and could e...

Re: CNC12 Lathe Emulator vs 5.06 free demo free vs.

Re: In over my head - New CNC Router rebuild.

Your sequence is correct BUT the last report you uploaded is timestamped as Jan 5 circa 16:00. A current Report.zip is therefore needed to include changes you have made since that date

Re: In over my head - New CNC Router rebuild.

When you change any configuration, please generate NEW report.zip and post it. Referring to a report before changes were made does not help anyone understand your system and therefore limits our help.

Re: Acorn Input Question

Why do you need both? If you are intending to combine your 4 closed loop drives + spindle/VFD, you could take a look at schematic S14972 where 3 Clearpaths are setup to combine DriveOK signals using a common 5vdc relay board. Using this technique your additional CL drive is no problem and you could ...
