Touch Probe Wiring

I recently purchased a touch probe and I think I understand how to connect it to the acorn controller, I would like someone to confirm this please. I wrote the way I understand the wire installation in red. Please confirm if this is correct.

Re: Subprogram error

First of all, I’d like to thank everyone who replied to this post to help me resolve this issue. I took CNCkeiths advice and ditched the numbers format to call up a subprogram and wrote down the action (like CNCkeiths example). After editing the main program several times to call up the subprogram, ...

cnckeith wrote: Tue Nov 29, 2022 3:23 pm if repeat is not wished for, you can put the subprogram name in quotes like this.

M98 "mysubprogram.nc"
Are you saying it should be written:

M98 "O9100.nc"

Subprogram error <answered, resolved>

I'm trying to run a program that calls for a subprogram. I've read all about how centroid work with subprograms, and I believe I wrote the g code line correctly, but I keep getting a "511 missing parameters" error on that line of code. The line of code is written M98 PO9100. The O9100 part...

Re: Axis Setup Issues

Thanks Shawn I did get the x axis to work not the rest though, but I will go ahead and install the update and maybe wire it directly from the acorn board to the drive instead of using the db25; as the wiring is pretty much straight forward. I've had this drive for a long time now just look at the da...

Re: Axis Setup Issues

As noted please take the time to update your software to the current version, 4.80. Centroid does not support old versions of the software. Also, post a link to the drive manual so we can see the wiring diagrams and confirm how you have the DB25 configured. I would start with wiring ONE axis of tha...

Re: Axis Setup Issues

Here are snips from the wizard along with the drive pics that I'm using. Shawn was right this is a all in one drive that controls 4 axis. The only wiring to the drive is a separate 110v source, and out to the motors. This is what I used with Mach 3 just as you see it. The only reason I had to swap s...

Re: Axis Setup Issues

Also, what drives do you have and what diagram did you follow. Post pics of the drive wiring and close up so we can see details. There shouldn’t have been a reason to remap pins if you are wiring to individual stepper drives since you just end up with bare wires on your DB25 cable. Did you double c...
