That's what I did. The control is connected to single phase 220V and the motor and VFD are connected to the phase converter. All works great. It' to bad you cant switch from air power for the turret n collet closer to an electric actuator setup. Compressor runs a lot.

Also when I first start up the machine air pressure at 90PSI I press the turret change button it doesnt do a complete change to the next position. I have to E stop quite a few times then it will change normally. Almost like its sticking

Found out what the "Air Fault " was and why the collet closer valve was also bleeding down! There was a new regulator installed and the water drain valve was open! Once I closed it worked!!!! I could jog in each axis and turn the spindle on. When I shut off the air each time the "Air ...

There’s a vfd already there. My cabinet is 220V single phase. I found that I can disconnect the power cord from where the 3 phase comes in where the power to the cabinet is and plug it directly into my 220v outlet. This has a 5hp motor
