Good morning
My ATC has a simple limit switch that is made when the turret is locked back against it's stop, it was not wired in as i was just using the timers being set up just right but sometimes it has not pulled all the way home so meaning the tools are not on centre.
Easy enough to wire in ...

Done 200 threads today, worked flawlessly, very happy with the Centroid product.
The machine comes with "MAE HY 200-3424-310 A8" steppers which were functional so we decided to stick with them and see what happens. Denford usually paint over the stickers so i was lucky a chap on the Denford forum ...

Well this one simple part represents months of reading and learning, all the help from this forum (Been fantastic help) and £1000's in parts and machine but we got there. Time to learn how to be a CAD/CAM programmer and CNC operator.

Thank you, changed that and the error has gone.
One last problem and i think i'm there. I'm setting my part X and Z to 0 by touching off as instructed in the "Part" menu (See photo 1 and photo 2) but the program is treating this as the center of the part, so it is starting twice as far away from ...

Progress! Thank you for your help guys, nearly there, i think there is just one problem left and i might see some chips.
You were right the axis needed flipping, i found the reverse axis's in the wizard.

I did change the automatic homing direction to negative, if i left it positive, it homes towards the chuck?

I'm guessing my X axis needs to be flipped so positive is facing away from the tool?

... if the machine moves 35mm the current position says it moves 70mm?
If you are referring to the X axis, then that is correct as the X-Axis is set to diameter mode (the circle and line next to the X in the DRO). 35mm off the radius is 70mm off the diameter.
One less thing to contend with ...
