KJ-1/110 was a good find.
Does not appear to be useable on my Harbor Freight lathe.
You did well "iLefty"

Re: NEW Build. LMS 7x16 Lathe, Centroid Acorn.
iLefty We have been discussing the electronic wiring for a 7x lathe by PM I am planning on using; KBSI-240d for 0-10v isolation. A "manual / CNC" switch installed in the lathe control box, (provides the ability to use the lathe manually) and An inhibit relay, controlled by Acorn which will...

Thank you for sharing your pictures. Franco has inspired me also, I am converting a 7x lathe also, but it is "Cowboy style" (Parts manually made).

Re: Help with KBIC 240D signal isolator wiring
There is the option of the Kbcc-125r which would replace the Kbic motor controller and provide reverse.

Re: Help with KBIC 240D signal isolator wiring
Well you confused me!
My understanding was the "KBCI" was a motor speed controller
and
The "KBSI" was a signal isolation board.
Regardless, I like all components in a system (subsystem) to turn off with one switch. My opinion...

Re: Help with KBIC 240D signal isolator wiring
I am attaching the KBSI -240D manual My opinion; you can power the KBSI however you want; - Not wise to use two different circuits or outlets... - Would be nice if the KBSI-240D only got power when the Sherline was "Switched On", in that way it would power down with the Sherline. kbsi_manu...

Re: DIG3d 17-24V/3mm Probe problems <3rd party probe>
Shreddedcurbs I have the 5v version of the DIG3d with the magnetic connector, I am still assembling my machine so I have not gotten to check out the probe. After reading about your experience, I ran out and put the DIG3d on the test bench. Interesting, there was no NC (Normally Closed) function happ...

Re: Probe problems
My question, The guide (Page2, number 2) says that NC probes require a "Probe detect" input.
Have you wired a Probe Detection circuit?
Like the "Poor Man's" switch on page 7?
