Re: Display not right during bench test

It is all over now. The PC I was using has some issues that I have yet to solve. I went to a different PC and started over. Everything worked as it should work. But I did notice something. When installing CNC12 there were 3 choices --- MILL, LATHE, ROUTER. I know what a lathe is - but what is the di...

Re: Display not right during bench test

Keith I did all of the above with no change.

I think there is something wrong with my computer.
It needed to reboot for a windows update and would not reboot completely.
I gave up for the day.

I am thinking about installing a new fresh Windows 10 install, then starting over.

Display not right during bench test

I am doing the bench test. I installed the cnc12 per video instructions. I get to the point to press reset then cycle start, but the part of the display for the cycle start is just a tall very narrow gray vertical stripe on the left side of the screen. I thought the monitor may be a problem may be t...

Re: Not my first 3D carving...

Sword, I tried the gadget in Aspire that I believe originated by Paul. I could not get it to work. There are many many point date file types. If there is an easier way I would love to know. I see LOTS of posts like - It "SHOULD" work thisa way, but I have not seen any posts that DETAIL an ...

Re: Not my first 3D carving...

Keith,

Thank you for that information.

I don't have Rhino - maybe some day.

I don't have Centroid -- YET --- I am thinking January - February.
I currently have 2-3 customer jobs I need to finish with Mach3.
I don't want to shut down my machine until I clear it of customer jobs.

Re: digitizing problems

Tom, Yes 100% I can. In Aspire I can import 3D .stl and modify it to my hearts content. I don't know a lot about what happens in the C+ programming behind the screen, but the STL gets converted to an editable model. I have done a fair amount of STL imports into Aspire. Purely STL - yes I know it's a...
