Re: Safety door input behavior

So, I just hooked everything up again and found that pressing the "TOOL CHECK" actually appears to do EXACTLY what I'm looking for. So I guess now my question is having an input set up to trigger a "TOOL CHECK" situation without having to mess with the default functionality of th...

NPN style proxy sensors I have insta...

Re: Safety door input behavior

A couple questions... 1) Do you have your door and it's inputs working? 2) Have you setup your door input and used all of the existing input safety designations to see if one works the way you wish? Re: Safety door input behavior

yes, all safety aspect of the CNC installation are up to the installer. we provide two common safety door switch configurations as a convenience and example. I'd use one of them to get started, operate the machine to see how it works and then make any changes you want after that. Thanks Keith. I gu...

Re: Safety door input behavior

in the All Acorn Documentation thread. https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_diy/downloads/acorn_documentation/acorn_safety_door_interlock.pdf Thank you Keith. Safety door input behavior

So let me start off explaining what I'm used to from a previous machine I had. I got into the cnc world about 3yrs ago or so with a Sha...
