It is a minor bugfix, and some new features.

If have updated today, I would in your case also update and spend not more time configuring 4.80

Check the setting of the Clearpaths. If Acorn commands 6400pulse/rev and they are set to 1600 they will do 4 revs instead of one...

Are the motors mounted with a belt drive an a gear ratio?

Looks on one pic like a big pulley on the motor and a small on the machine...

Are the drivers set to 6400 pulse like Acorn?

Ups, did not notice the manual quill, and overlooked that M26 needs no switch.....

Acorn is a DIY CNC with a low pricetag for a small market... To make a complete translation of the UI there are about 7200 lines to translate/edit. If this should be perfect you need someone how knows all the technical terms in English and the second language. Lets assume he needs 60h for the job ch...

M26/Z sets Z home.
M26/M sets M (quill) home.
M26/Z/M sets home for both Z and M.

Sure you need a home switch on any linear axis.
