yes on both. - set tool # should have been on the mill VCP as well. fyi..the new tool library i am working on also has it as a function key as well so you don't have to have it on the VCP if you don't want to. - and good idea on the stress test, we will do that! I am using a Vertex HV6 with a stepper. That can be adjusted to almost zero backlash.

You could use a harmonic drive 50:1 or 100:1 and 40/36 pulleys.

jep in NP++, but should go also with copy and insert in Intercon {never tried it)

.... I love Centroid Acorn, im more then pleased. But being a DIY'er im always thinking of ways to optimize. Would be great if they offered professional support for things like this , huge benefit to customers who sometimes need a little hand holding at times. I already know they are customer focus...

Hi Uwe, thanks for the hint. Right now i am testen Parameters for All Materials and i found out, that with f0,3 i can Break the Chips also in titanium.
