Hi Steve,
CNCSNW is right, I mistook the problem for M3 S0 not for M5
With M5 the VFD analog trim should not be the problem.

Re: Tuning and Calibrating Spindle Speed with a VFD (inverter)
Add a capacitor across the 0-10V Wiring.
Adjust the VFD zero spindle speed, Acorn gives a very small voltage at 0 rpm, that can be tuned in the VFD parameters.

Re: Configuring servo motor for spindle
You can set one of the 4 SigIn Inputs with parameter PN09-63 to value 18. That should inverse the direction if wired to VFD-Direction Output from Acorn. (The translation of the manual is really bad
)

Would be nice if "CNC Program Codes: G-Codes" table would be with links like the M-Function chapter....

You can map an input to an AUX key in the PLC, and this AUX Key to an macro in the Wizard.

Re: Configuring servo motor for spindle
Yes but Acorn is only 0-10V not -10V-+10V on the spindle output
Maybe you can configure one of the Servos inputs for direction change.

Re: Configuring servo motor for spindle
If there are no more options than in the first pic, the driver is without an direction input to change from CW to CCW
With Acorn6 no problem, with Acorn you only have 0-10V.....

Re: CNC12 v5.0+ Draft Operator's Manual Mill/Lathe
Great job on the new manuals, good improvement from the old ones. I like that more hyperlinks are implemented. Lathe: 6.2 RTG is from the mill 9 Group of G-Codes are in the table, but not described 11.3 "NOTE: For Acorn and AcornSix users, please use the Acorn Wizard to change parameters. Some ...

How to use g-code smoothing with a lathe
If you program feed/min instead of feed/revolution, it is possible to use smoothing on a lathe also for turning. Also good to use for mill-turn with C-Axis and small vector files for a smooth surface. At the moment lathe will not feature smoothing from the UI or G64 to turn it on, but with setting t...
