Re: PLC Update - New Features
What is the difference between FRV and Pecking?
Centroid FRV varies the feedrate from 0-100% in a given time in ms in a sine curve.
Pecking is same feedrate forward and rapid backward, forward to the same position minus clearance, than feedrate again to the defined peck depth.
100% chip ...

Re: Complete PM-25 Acorn CNC mill.
Well, I convinced my wife that I couldn't get a decent price for my CNC milling machine. So I guess I'll keep it. 😁😁😁
In fact, I just bought a lathe that I'm hoping will cut down on the chips I track into the house. 😄
In the chip throwing competition, my lathe wins always ...

Re: PLC Update - New Features
Well I am happy to say that tested the function of both SSV and FRV after moving it over from the factory 5.30 PLC into mine. and they both worked like they were supposed to. I haven't tackled the Diagonal Jogging yet because it is a little more complicated and and it probably isn't worth it for ...

Re: NEW BUILD! Chinese CNC 1313 replacing mach3
You router folks are shortcutting industrial standards.
A router is also a mill, I would never remove G43 and G49, but adjust the M6 for manual tool change with automatic tool length measuring after screwing in a new tool in a collet spindle.
For a one tool code, just measure the tool before ...

Re: ATC - Schematic/Operation Question
Probably. I would opt for one from a manufacturer who can spell, and who can draw a legible porting diagram; but then I am just an elitist snob about such things.

Re: Updating to 5.30 another disaster
In this time I have tested several updates for beta testing on two full customized machines with Acorn6....
I cannot read what your problem really is here?
I just use NP++ to compare the VCP skin and PLC after an update to redo any custom editing if it is needed.

Re: how to program in Intercon
Just a sample with a 12mm Endmill and no compensation.
Done in a minute, I love Intercon
Hope this helps to make it fit to your part

Re: NEW BUILD! Chinese CNC 1313 replacing mach3
alright, i guess ive lost you guys. last thing, the voltage going to the vfd dips during operations. at a seemingly random interval. When i measure the voltage at the acorn board the voltage smooths out. any ideas?

For the voltage fluctuation, I'd take a look at ...
